A brilliant corporate event was held at the Belfry Warwickshire on Saturday 28th March.
Three two hour master classes for Poker beginners was held throughout the afternoon at the excellent facilities of the Belfry Golf Club.

Freddy Deep wins WPT Celebrity Charity Tournament
5th March Los Angeles California the Commerce Casino put up $200,000 prize pool for participates to win.

A record setting 433 celebrities included Ricki Lake, Don Cheadle, Lelena Houdova and Chip Jett went toe to toe until Freddy Deep bested actor Nicholas Gonzales at the final table.
Freddy then donated his $34,000 prize money to the charity The Vine Group USA (TVG.)

Liquidator says players owed $5 million aus Dollars

The Liquidators of Tusk Investments which owned 28 Online Poker Rooms have requested that all ordinary unsecured creditors ( 3000 ) should contact them with proof of debt.
Tusk Investments had 28 online poker rooms including Battlefield Poker, Poker.ie, Red Nines, Dave’s Poker Room and Berserk Poker.
Tusk Investments made losses of AU $1,588,326 ending 2007 and AU $942,896 until Jan 2008
