Chess Club front
Illegal poker tournament closed down by police in Barcelona.
The Segundo Eixample Poquer Tour had been taking place over a number of months in the Eixample suburb of Barcelona in premises illegally registered as a Chess Club.
Police seized eight poker tables, thirty five French card games, 1,700€ and thousands of chips.
More than 300 players were registered for the tournament including professional gamblers known to casinos across Europe and the United States.
